Tuesday's Run Around
Well it is Tuesday and I will be running around all day.
Up at 6am to get Himself up, had a coffee, of course he couldn't have one this morning, shame! I enjoyed mine!
Off to the hospital to take him in ready for his small operation on his toe, maybe two toes. Got to the hospital at 7am, all the patients were ushered into a small room whilst they sorted the bed situation out. Wouldn't you know it they had an influx of emergencies through the night!!!!
Himself being Himself said if they don't do the operation today then he just wont have it done!!!!
Back home to walk the dog, do some ironing and then off to the shops before taking Mr Milo to the vets at 12 to get his stitches out, told Himself not to ring for collection till after Milo has been the vets, I mean you have got to get your priorities right haven't you!!!!!

Himself rang me at 10 am they have just moved him onto a ward and into a bed!
Yeah Mr Milo was very brave and had all his stitches out, he was so good, I have promised him a good run this afternoon! Still got swelling on his side, should go down in the next couple of weeks.
Oops Himself rang me, guess what? They have just cancelled his operation! Yep great stuff isn't it! He has been at the hospital just over five hours, after waiting 18 months for this op and it gets cancelled! So he now says he will NOT have the op done at all!!!
Oh well it's 2pm and all the running around is done with now!

What a nightmare! I hate when they do that...I know that the hospitals are busy, but our time is important, too.
I hope that Mr. Milo is feeling better now that his stitches are out.

That's what the NHS is for, wasting money and time. I should know, I work in it! Err...don't tell anyone I told you that.

LOL to Pamela - I think I would go for throwing bedpans. . . Poor Himself. . .What type of operation is he supposed to be having?
biddie - mr milo is so happy to be off his lead and chasing his ball.
dilling - thats ok i just thought it was something different!
tod - at least you are not on the firing line from the patients!
pamela - i would have refused to leave until they had operated!
shauna - it was to remove some lumps and fuse his toe joints, he now refuses to have it done!

Oh dear. Well, it would be hard for me to go back after waiting that long, just to be cancelled.
At least Milo is doing ok.

Sounds like the state of healthcare is pretty much the same there as it is here! Glad Mr. Milo is ok.
I don't think I'd want to have my toes messed with either!
