Venice 2004
We went to Venice for our silver wedding anniversary in 2004 the above photo is one of the many canals, as you know its all canals!!!! We had a great time there yes we went on a gondola and no they didn't sing to us, they told us we had to do the singing!!! Think they might have thrown me in if i sang!!!!
And of course St Marks Square.
Well it's Sunday already and I am enjoying my time off . Saturday I met a friend and we went for a 'dog' walk, Mr milo loves going walking with her and her five dogs! There is Gypsy, Billy, Jess, Barney and Rupert! We also took Molly with us, was going to take the camera but i had no batteries!!! I will get me some batteries so when we go out and about this week i can show you all where we have been!
Hoping to go to Harewood House and Chatsworth House and maybe a day at the seaside, Cleethorpes. Would also like to go to the pictures fancy seeing Hot Fuzz and also the Illusionist.

fell asleep watchin Match of the day n missed the eclipse - unless it was earlier in which case missed it watching Match of the Day.
Great weekend - mainly 'cause The Old Pretenders won 6 - 4 today mainly due to magnificent goalkeeping from me of course.

I took J-Man and Bug outside to watch the eclipse. We tried to make shadow puppets on the moon, too, but it didn’t work.

I missed the eclipse cause I thought it was later in the evening here when it was actually at around 5:30. Oh well.
The closest I've ever been to seeing Venice is when I went to the Venitian Hotel in Las Vegas. LOL
We went on the roof of a friend's house and watched the eclipse over beer.
Wow, Venice is a place I hope to see one day!

No eclipse for us...too many clouds. Glad to see the pic though! Waiting to see the dog-walking pics of Mr. Milo and friends!
I was at a party during the eclipse and we all stood out in the yard and oooh'd and awww'd..it was fabulous!! ( especially after a few drinks !)
I'm planning on going to venice one day..it's on my short list!!
