Happy Birthday Old Man

Today is the husbands birthday Mr T he is very, very old!!!! This is what I bought him for his birthday, no not the plane, but remember the trip in the bi-plane? Well that was his birthday treat. We are going to the pictures to see Zodiac and then to the pub for tea.

This week is National Men's Health week and courtesy of the Daily Express here are ten things you never knew about men.

1. In the UK, there are 105 males born for every 100 females.
2. Over the age of 65, however, there are only 75 males for every 100 females.
3. The life expectancy at birth of a man in the UK is 76.25 years, but for woman it is 81.3 years.
4. In the Arab state of Qartar, there are 2.28 men for every woman aged between 15 and 65. This is the highest male-female ratio in the world.

6. Research in 2001 showed that men were better than woman at identifying from the smell whether T-shirts had been worn by babies or older children.
7. In ancient Sparta men who were still unmarried at the age of 30 forfeited the right to vote.
8. Experiments in 2002 showed that lionesses prefer their men to be dark and hairy.
9. Surveys this year reveal that one per cent of men have visited six or more lap-dancing clubs abroad, 28 per cent of men who are cat owners would rather change their partner than their cat, and 52 per cent of men have seduced a woman by impressing with their cooking.
