A Grand Day Out

We had a grand day out today at Chesterfield Medieval Market
Complete with the 'band'


of course the Jester
the Knights
my favourate Knight Philip, so young and so dashing!

the shoe maker
all for free and we even had sunshine!

Medieval Festival is very romantic HER INDOORS. Perhaps the only difference is, it is pretty clean and hygenic now, no more teethless young people, fear of plague and no more cowdung and horse shit. And no witches too. Did you go up the Church and investigate ? What is your report HER INDOORS ?

How much fun is that? I've been to one Medieval Fair many years ago, but it was in Oklahoma. Not quite the caliber of this one.
Typepad was down most of the day. Hope they have their technical difficulties due to the power outage fixed for all this voting.

Rauf - as a kid i grew up beleiving that it was the devil who caused the steeple to become crooked so thats what i beleive!
