Sheffield Fayre

We actually went out on a Bank Holiday Monday, this has to be a first for us, we generally stay at home to avoid the crowds! So we took ourselves off the Sheffield Fayre at Norfolk Heritage Park in Sheffield. There was a re-enactment of the American Civil War, but we arrived to late to see it, however I did manage to get some pretty good photos, so enjoy.

OK this is the first time Himself has held a gun, any idea who he would like to use it on? Answers on a post card please!

I have been to several of the camps were displays from all the wars from the Revolutionary War to Viet Nam are laid out for everyone to see. They are so interesting, and they bring back memories of stories I heard as a child from the veterans of WWI, WWII, Korea and from my buddies about VN. Hope you enjoyed it, too. It’s nice to get out and about to visit different places.

Glad you enjoyed your bank holiday and the weather was good.

I'm guessing him indoors will shoot anyone who bothers Mr Milo.

It wouldn't have occurred to me that there would be much interest in the American Civil War. But, it did look interesting.

Do you think Himself would use the gun on the seagull who always swoopes down on my cat! Honestly, this bird is extremely brave and shits down my washing a lot so a quick ending would be great!!

Nice pics, Katy!

Are the women allowed to be soldiers too? Or do they have to make stew and apply bandages? Just wondering.
