Fun Monday

This week's Fun Monday is being hosted by Willowtree, he wants to see some clothing art. That's tee shirts, baseball caps, hoodies, sports uniforms or any bit of clothing that you or your kids own that has interesting, funny or artistic graphics.

The first three tee shirts I have bought specially for today's post! OK no I haven't I have bought them for my grandson who is 2 1/2, just couldn't resist them!

The first ever concert I went to was Meat Loaf, and yes I bought and wore this tee shirt, great concert it was too!

No I am not ashamed to say that I went to a Cliff concert last year and I wear this with pride and to annoy everybody else! I know my taste in music is very diverse lol!

The last one shows how much I think of the environment doesn't it? Well yes I do but the tee shirt was a freebie from work! You can imagine the looks I get when wearing it!

I apologise if I don't get round to everybody's blog today as we are having the kitchen floor ripped up and replaced, so be patient and I will try and visit later or on tuesday, thanks and thanks to Willowtree for being our host today.
p.s wow didn't realsie that our Sir Cliff Richard was not so well known, he was once called the British version of Elvis, who I also love!

Hi HI,

"I aint getting in no bath" is my favourite.

I must hook up for next weeks fun monday; it is fun!

And my first concert was Meat Loaf; he is soooooo fab. I sing Bat out of Hell to myself when I am feeling low to givvy myself up!

Your shirt art certainly is fun. I was trying to think of my first concert. Then, I quickly remember that I saw Elvis Presley when I was in the sixth grade in 1957. I like some Meat Loaf tunes, but I am not familiar with Cliff.

Meatloaf and Cliff Richard? Yes, you're taste eclectic, but oh so much fun! the only thing we know about Cliff over here is his duet with Olivia Newton John. Can't remember the title, but I could hum a little for ya.

I love that first t-shirt. Especially for a little boy. That's cute.

I wonder if they have License to be Naughty in my size? Cause I'd really like one!

And who's Cliff???

DJ Kirkby said...

I would like to submit N3S's tee shirt which has one of his random comments on it 'Don't be so velcro!'

Cute. [love dj kirkby comment too] But I love the license to be naughty. Heck, I could buy that one for me too if it came in my size.

HAVE A FUN MONDAY.

I'm a big fan of the Ain't gettin no bath. My son's 2.5, too. He'd get a kick outta it.

I think you need to educate some of your readers!

"Who's Cliff?" It's like a dagger through my heart!!

"License to be naughty" Shouldn't every kid (and kid at heart) have a shirt like that?

Great shirts! Can we have pics of your new floor next? Thanks.

Great display of T-shirts. I don't have any from concerts, hmm, I guess it would help to go to them and buy them. Anyway, thanks for visiting and congratulations on getting a new floor in the kitchen.

I once saw Meatloaf walking around Manchester with tracksuit trousers on with Meatloaf written down the leg...now if only I'd had my camera.

My son would love the "Gettin' NO Bath" and my almost 2 yo would fit her perfectly, in the "License to be Naughty", as she gets into everything, but looks so darling when she's caught. :)

Good Luck with the new floor! Would love to see a photo of the finished project.

OH, I like Meatloaf, but I do need an education on who Cliff is. I would like to know - I'm off to google it.

Great collection!

I love the "don't laugh" t-shirt! That made me giggle!

Ozzy I know and Meatloaf I know, but who is this Cliff? No, really. Who is he? I have very diverse taste in music, too, so maybe I'd like him.

Ah! flashback - I remember cliff richard. I thought he had a great voice. Reminded me of another pop singer who was also in a soap - can see his face, but not the name. Brain fart - will probably come to me in my sleep.

Happy fun monday.

A lot of people knock Cliff but he is great. Do you remember the trick he played to get his music played on the radio?
I covet your recycle T-shirt, in fact they're all great.

Any mother could relate to those first tees, lol. They brought a BIG smile to my face.

Did somebody say "meatloaf"? Gee, I'm gettin' hungry!

Sounds like you're doing some serious work around your house...hope everything goes well with your floor replacement!

Pamela said...

I fear I'm one of the "who is Cliff" gang.

Also, that recycle shirt is an eye catcher.

Love the kids t-shirts. They always have such great sayings.

I used to have a number of concert t-shirts. Mine were from April Wine, Ted Nugent, and Van Halen. Probably more but I can't remember them now...nor do I still have them :-(

Anonymous said...

lol those shirts for your grandson are very cool!

I think Meatloaf has some very good music and doesn't get enough credit now for how successful he was then.

Never heard of Cliff.
