The Colorado National Monument is our backyard where lots of bikers ride. A couple of kids were doing exactly what you've pictured here a couple of years ago. One of them could have used a parachute because his helmet was of no use. It took rescue crews 15 hours to recover his body.
Helmut my ass!!??!! You have to be fucking nuts to ride a bicycle on that path. I would have blisters on my back from leaning back against the wall walking sideways. Better yet, I would stay in the hotel bar. A hangover is better than a fall. A BICYCLE?!?!
I just wanted to SCREAM! I have such a fear of heights and I could even feel my insides clench up when I saw those pictures - are they crazy? They must have parachutes attached to their backs in case they fall - not that that would matter - I still would never even WALK on a ledge like that! Cool picutres - have a great weekend. Kellan
Chopper just pointed out that Id missed the post where you put that you'd like ot read my books someday. How sweet are you? Thank you so much! Free copies of as many as I get published (if I get publsihed) for you obviously!

I LOVE these pictures, having just come back from the states and living with cycle loons I aint surprised by these pictures lol BLOODY LOONS :)
I have had a lifelong fear of heights - conquered (almost entirely) by therapy and just f-ing doing it. Walk that path? Yes. Bike. Oh no f-ing way. But thank you for the pics... they are... inspiring, to say the least.
Meet Mr Milo, my 13 year old dog, how can you not love him! I am a wife, a mother and a nana and a blog addict also known as Katy. I enjoy life, well it's too short not to really! Love my family, my friends and of course Mr Milo. Thanks for dropping by please call again!

I frightened just looking at the pictures.
so frightened that I forgot the word, "am." I am frightened.
You know, there's being adventurous and then there's being a little stupid. That looks stupid to me. LOL
I need to take a minute and let my heart resume its normal beating pattern. Lordy! Those people are crazy.

I used to go on the roof and clean out the gutters. Now I don't even like the ladder. This is way beyond me!
