Soon Be Christmas

Got myself a new hair style, would show you but I am shy! yeah right!
So we have now got carpet in the kitchen, yes I know not a good thing having carpet in the kitchen, it looks good but I don't want carpet in the kitchen, but I was outvoted, himself prefers it as it is kinder on his feet, and Mr Milo prefers it doesn't make a noise when he walks on it! It is waterproof backed but that's the only good thing about it! Suppose I will get used to it, well got no choice really!
Can you believe this, a couple have just been on the local news and they have put up their Christmas decorations! Yep it is the 25th October and their house is fully decorated for Christmas! The outside and the inside, their 12 year old son is embarrassed, don't blame him! I mean don't get me wrong I love Christmas but it is still two months away for gods sake!
Mr Milo is not a very happy fella, it is the time of year that he really hates, it's not the weather, he can cope with it getting a bit colder, he can cope with the odd rain shower, which I must say we haven't had a lot of YET. So why is he sad? It's the firework season! Bonfire night is not till the 5th November but the fireworks start earlier every year. I hate them, I really think they should be banned from public sale and only organised firework displays held on the 5th November. Mean of me I know but that's just my opinion.
I have not told you but next week I will not be around, now now don't be getting upset I am sure you can manage a week without me! We are off to Scotland, beautiful Scotland, so I promise you I will try and have a nice time, of course I would rather stay at home and spend the week blogging! What do you mean you don't believe me! You cynical lot you! Will do my best to get you a photo of the Loch Ness Monster, but got a feeling himself will scare it off! And don't worry about Mr Milo he is off to his friends were he will have lots of doggy company and lots of good, long walks!

Poor Mr. Milo. I hate those fireworks too. Hopefully they won't be too bad this year.

See if you can get Nessie to pose with you. Maybe you can put your arm around her and you guys can make some funny faces for the camera. That would be fun!

Have a great time!

Reading this has made me realise I have not yet heard any fireworks they usually start about a week before the event.

Don't be shy let us see the new hair style!

Enjoy your holiday, a friend of mine was up there a couple of weeks back and had a wonderful time.

Far too early for Christmas decorations, I'm usually rushing at the last minute to get the tree decorated!

Monster, or not, I hope you bring us some pictures! Hurry back! We will miss your sunshine.

I want to thank you for your kind words for my daughter. You are very thoughtful and much appreciated.

I'm so jealous! Have a wonderful time and take lots of pictures.

Why are there fireworks? Is that Guy Fawkes day? I'm not a big fan of fireworks myself. I like going to see them, but I don't want them in my neighborhood. I'm just a mean old woman that way.

Christmas, geez, it's not even November yet, we still have turkey to do.

We've lots of fireworks going off here and they're illegal without a special licence! The culmination will be Halloween as we don't celebrate bonfire night...that's one night I really miss as I have great memories of 5th November as a child.

I don't care for fireworks, either. The professionally fired kind are ok, but these idiots setting them off in close confines of neighborhoods irritate me.

In MA they were illegal, which was nice. Yes, I am a scrooge. I'm happy that way!
