Started Just!
Thanks for wishing me well from the migraine, all gone, well slight fuzzy feeling but a lot better.
Finally started my Christmas shopping, yippee! I got soooooo excited!
You may or may not know of 'In the Night Garden', I don't, no honest I don't!
Well we had these toys in where I work, but then they sold out and have never come back in, so starting to get worried me and a friend kept looking out for them, couldn't find any.
Friday I took myself off to Toys r Us and guess what I bought, yep the one and only Igglepiggle! This is for my lovely friends adorable little man.
So in a nice calm manner, whilst jumping up and down and getting lots of strange looks, I rang my friend and asked her if she wanted me to get Upsy Daisy too!
So on a roll I took myself off to Argos to buy this for the little fella, trouble is it is only available for home delivery, seeing the size of the queue I decided to come home and order it on line.It's not a big item, it isn't a heavy item so why its only available for home delivery at a cost of £4.95 beats me!
So order placed, item paid for, delivery date Tuesday 27th November between 7.00am and 6pm, means stopping in for the day, but hey its for the little fella so no problem.Trouble is it is now 7.30pm and I am still waiting!!!!
Give you one guess who I have just e-mailed then!!!!

I cannot keep up with the toy trends! At least mine are old enough now that I don't need to worry about that so much. Although my son wants all kinds of scary things that explode. Not good...

I'm ashamed to say I have heard of igglepiggle & upsydaisy. I got bored with the news one morning and found "In The Night Garden" while surfing. Before I knew it, it was twenty minutes later and I was late for work! lol!

The good news is my Mom and I decided we will not exchange gifts between each other or my brother. We are going out to dinner for Christmas Eve though and it will be good. My nephews are 10 and 17 so gift cards are the best thing so they can buy what they want. Last year I sent Christmas cards with the gift cards in them and my sister took them shopping before Christmas (not sure if she wrapped them and put them under the tree or if she just gave them to the boys). That was easy.
I will buys some "Toys for Tots" but I haven't done that yet. My small group at work usually buys for a family or buys games for "Toys for Tots".
Hope you got everything you needed. I can't keep up with what's new these days.

Glad that nasty migraine is gone. Those will certainly do you in!
I miss the days of the maddening crowds at Toys R Us, reaching for the last one on the shelf only to be nixed by someone with longer or quicker arms. *giggle* Maybe one of these days I will have some grand kiddos to buy these cuddles for!
I've never heard of igglepiggle. But I'm never around any kids, so what do I know?
I guess I need to get online and get my Christmas shopping done.

heidi - i love buying gifts for children, and the excitement for them at christmas makes christmas, not had that for a long time and now it is coming back with the grandson and my friends little one, ohhh i giddy!

dj andi - its good to have you around again, this year i have decided not to buy christmas cards, the money i would have spent on them is going to buy a gift for a child in need. just need to buy lots more for my little fella, because thats what nanans can do!

jay - i honestly haven't seen the In the Night Garden, dont think we are missing much! Yes get shopping in case you get any problems with the delivery, how mad am I about that!
